Explore metallic, iridescent and two tone paints along with Opal Medium and Pearl-ex powders on fabrics. You will paint a shimmering seascape and a star filled galaxy and take home both ready for further embellishment. We will look at techniques for easily painting on fabric, blending, heat setting, fabric manipulation and working “wet on wet”. You’ll learn the benefits of both white and black fabric, and try a ridiculously simple, quick way of making metallic “hand dyed” effect fabric. We will also discuss permanency, other mediums and using pencils and markers in your works.
